Jea LadronA dark silhouette of a man flashed by in the dusty darkness of a warehouse and a bullet ripped open a new hole for the evening sun to shine through. The bullet shattered a dirty bottle right next to the man’s shoulder. ”Maleton!” he screamed out and dodged another bullet ripping through rusty metal. He lodged himself between an old wreck of a car and some forgotten boxes. He dropped out the empty cartridge from his handgun and pushed another one in. ProloguePrologue – The Spring FestivalPrologue
Along the coastline lazy waves were washing small pieces of ice ashore, leaving them on the mercy of the bright sun. Finally, it looked like spring was on its way. All over the land, snow and ice gave up their grip on the frosty ground, and small birds ventured outside of their hiding places. A horse’s hooves left imprints on the soft road, but were soon smudged over by another pair of hooves and shoes as a slow-moving caravan made its way through the melting land, towards the large city basked in sunlight.
